Privacy Policy — Flags and Countries

Last updated: 5 June 2026

Flags and Countries (“the app”) is a flags-and-capitals quiz game. We designed it to respect your privacy: the app works fully offline and does not collect personal data, does not track you, and has no user accounts or analytics.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or usage analytics, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Data stored on your device

Your settings, statistics, language choice, leaderboard nickname and progress are stored only on your device (local storage). They are never transmitted to us. Deleting the app removes this data.

Purchases

Optional “Pro” purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage purchase entitlements; RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app-user identifier and the transaction info needed to validate your purchase. It does not receive your name or contact details. See Apple’s and RevenueCat’s privacy policies for their processing.

Advertising

The free version shows ads via Google AdMob. On first launch we ask for your permission using Apple’s App Tracking Transparency. If you allow it, ads may be personalized; if you decline, ads are non-personalized. AdMob may process limited device information (such as a device identifier) to serve and measure ads. Pro subscribers see no ads. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any data from children.

Friend challenges

The “Challenge a friend” feature creates a code you choose to share. It contains only the quiz settings and your score — no personal information — and is shared by you, through your own apps.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date will change accordingly.
