Last updated: 11 August 2026 · App: AR Ruler (iOS, bundle com.arruler.app) · Developer contact: sellercomp@hotmail.com
Summary: subscription billed through Apple, auto-renews until you cancel — and measurements are estimates, not a calibrated instrument.
By installing or using AR Ruler, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
AR Ruler provides camera-based augmented reality measurement — distance, height, area, volume, angle, and perimeter — together with an on-screen ruler, bubble level, protractor, compass, and unit converter.
AR Ruler offers an optional auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
A subscription automatically renews for the same term unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your App Store account settings on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
Except as otherwise stated in these Terms, your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's own policies, not by us directly. Visit Apple's request a refund page to request one.
Every result AR Ruler produces — AR-based distance, height, area, volume, angle and perimeter, as well as the on-screen ruler, bubble level, protractor, and compass — is an estimate calculated from your device's camera and motion sensors. Accuracy is affected by lighting conditions, surface texture, device motion, distance to the object being measured, and the calibration of your device's sensors.
Do not rely on AR Ruler in situations where an inaccurate measurement could be costly or unsafe, including construction, structural, medical, legal, or other safety-critical uses. Always verify with a calibrated measuring instrument before acting on a measurement where accuracy matters.
How your measurements, photos, and settings are handled is described in the Privacy Policy: everything stays on your device, and nothing is uploaded to us.
You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the app or its subscription controls, or to use the app for any unlawful purpose.
The app is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that any measurement will be accurate for your particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including damages arising from reliance on a measurement — resulting from use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Updates will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
