This Privacy Policy describes how the Recipes app (“App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information. The App is built for minimal data collection: you do not create an account, and we do not use behavioural or usage analytics. The limited data we do receive is described below — chiefly an anonymous app identifier and anything you choose to send us through the in-app support form. The data controller is the developer of Recipes (contact: sellercomp@hotmail.com).

On first launch the App generates a random identifier (a UUID) that is stored on your device and shown in Settings > Your ID. It is not linked to your name or Apple Account. We send it to RevenueCat to keep track of your subscription, and attach it to any support message you send so we can match a request to your purchase. Deleting and reinstalling the App creates a new identifier.
If you contact us through Settings > Contact us, we store the following in our Supabase database so we can read and reply, and handle purchase or refund requests: the message text, your install identifier, your platform (e.g. iOS) and app version, and your email address only if you choose to provide one (optional, used solely to reply). We retain support messages for up to 24 months, then delete them. We do not use them for advertising and do not sell them.

RevenueCat manages your subscription on our behalf. It receives your purchase receipt from Apple and your app install identifier (sent as the “app user ID”). See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Our backend (recipe catalog and support messages) is hosted on Supabase. Support messages you send are stored there as described above. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
When you use AI Chef, the ingredient text you enter is sent to Google's Gemini API via our Supabase Edge Function to generate a recipe. No personal identifiers are attached. See Google's Privacy Policy.
The App shows rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob (for example, to earn an extra AI Chef recipe). AdMob may use device identifiers (such as the IDFA on iOS) to serve ads. This is subject to Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework — you are shown an ATT prompt before any tracking occurs, and can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. To access or delete the support messages and the install identifier associated with you, email sellercomp@hotmail.com and include your in-app ID (Settings > Your ID). We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection under the GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA. We do not sell your personal information.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by your local law (for example, under 13 in the United States, or under 16 in parts of the EEA). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
The App is available globally and our backend may process data outside your country. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, any on-device data is under your full control and is removed when you delete the App, and you may exercise the rights described above.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will revise the Effective Date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
