Prayer Times Pro — Privacy Policy

Prayer Times Pro (“the app”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app uses and why.

Data we use

• Location (approximate and/or precise): Used solely to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction for your location. You may also enter/keep a default location instead. Location is requested only with your permission.

Data sharing

• When you enable “Official-times sync” (Diyanet/Aladhan), your coordinates are sent over HTTPS to the public Aladhan API (api.aladhan.com) to retrieve the official prayer-time table for your area. This is the only case where location leaves your device, and only the coordinates (no identity) are sent.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or analytics providers.

Data we do NOT collect

• No account or sign-in. No name, email, phone number, or contacts.
• No advertising identifiers. No analytics or tracking SDKs. No crash/usage reporting.

Storage

Your settings (calculation method, madhab, selected location, preferences) are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app removes them. We keep no server-side account or copy of your data.

Permissions

• Location — to compute prayer times and Qibla for your position.
• Notifications — to remind you of prayer times with the adhan.
• Exact alarms — to fire prayer notifications precisely on time.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
