Summary: no account, no ads, no tracking — compressing, merging and splitting all happen on your device.
The app itself collects no personal data, no analytics, and no diagnostics, contains no advertising SDKs, and requires no account. If you purchase a Pro subscription, the payment is processed entirely by Apple; our subscription service provider (RevenueCat) receives a random anonymous identifier and your purchase state so your subscription can be activated and restored — never your name, email address, or files. This information is not used for advertising or tracking. The only personal information we ever ask you for is the email address you type into the contact form, described in section 3.
Compressing, merging, and splitting happen entirely on your device — those files never leave it. PDF⇄Word conversion works differently: the file you choose is uploaded over an encrypted connection to our conversion service (powered by CloudConvert), converted, returned to your device, and deleted from the servers immediately after. Conversion files are never stored, analyzed, or shared. Temporary working copies on your device are automatically deleted the next time the app launches.
If you use the in-app contact form, the subject and message you write, your email address, your app version, device model, language, and your Support ID (the anonymous subscription identifier shown on the About screen) are sent to our support inbox so we can help you. An email address is required to submit the form — the app has no account system, so it is the only way we can reply to you. We use it solely to answer you: it is never added to a mailing list, never used for marketing, and never sold or shared with anyone. Support messages reach our own mailbox and a private notification channel, and the copy stored on our server is deleted automatically after 180 days.
Your documents are never shared with anyone except CloudConvert, and only for the specific conversion you request (see their privacy policy). Subscription purchases are verified through RevenueCat (see their privacy policy). Contact-form messages are delivered by our email provider, Resend (see their privacy policy). Compressing, merging, and splitting involve no network connection at all.
This app is not directed at children and asks no one for personal information, apart from the email address needed to answer a contact-form message.
