Wall Paint AI — Privacy Policy

Wall Paint AI shows you how your room would look repainted in a new color. We built it to need as little of your data as possible: no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.

1. What the app processes

• Room photos you choose. When you tap “paint”, the photo you took or selected is sent over an encrypted connection to our server function, which forwards it to the AI provider you selected (Google Gemini or OpenAI) for the sole purpose of generating the repainted image or color suggestions you requested. We do not use your photos for advertising, profiling, or training of our own.
• Your results gallery. The original photo and the repainted result are stored in private cloud storage (Supabase) so your gallery works across sessions. They are linked to an anonymous, device-generated session — we do not know who you are. Only you can access your images.
• Preferences. Your chosen AI provider and paint finish are stored locally on your device.

2. What we do NOT do

• No user accounts, names, emails, or phone numbers are collected.
• No advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps or websites.
• No selling or sharing of personal data.

3. Third-party AI providers

Repainting and color suggestions are performed by the provider you pick inside the app: Google (Gemini) or OpenAI. Photos are transmitted to them only to fulfil your request and are subject to their API data policies (both state that API data is not used to train their models by default).

4. Deleting your data

Open the Gallery, tap a painted room, and choose Delete — this removes the image and its record from our storage immediately. Deleting the app abandons the anonymous session; for a full wipe request, email us with the approximate date and time you used the app.

5. Children

Wall Paint AI is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
