Summary: no account, no servers, no analytics — every conversion happens on your device.
The app itself collects no personal data, no analytics, and no diagnostics, and requires no account. To import photos it uses the system Photos picker, which lets you choose individual images without ever granting the app access to your full library. To save a converted result, the app requests permission to add items to your Photo Library — it cannot read or browse your existing photos with this permission. If you purchase Image Converter Pro, payment is processed entirely by Apple; our subscription service provider (RevenueCat) receives a random anonymous identifier and your purchase state so your subscription can be activated and restored — never your name, email address, or images.
Format conversion (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, BMP, GIF, WebP, RAW, PDF), resizing, and EXIF metadata handling all happen entirely on your device using Apple's own system frameworks. Image Converter does not operate any servers of its own, and your images and files are never uploaded anywhere.
If you installed the app after tapping an Apple Search Ads result, we use Apple's own Ad Services attribution API to learn — in aggregate — that the install came from our ad campaign. This is a privacy-preserving mechanism built into iOS: it does not identify you personally, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not require a tracking-permission prompt, and Apple does not permit it to be used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Subscription purchases are verified through RevenueCat (see their privacy policy). App distribution, purchase processing, and Search Ads attribution are handled by Apple (see Apple's privacy policy). No data is shared with or sold to any other third party.
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
